Some key highlights for us recently include:

I&D Strategy - In 2016 our then newly formed I&D Council wrote the I&D strategy which outlined our goals leading up to 2020.
Pride@KPMG - We've formed Pride@KPMG, which is a network for our LBGT+people and their allies. The group has been really active with a number of activities held across the year in addition to us being the first professional services firm in NZ to gain Rainbow Tick certification.
Unconscious Bias Training - We have implemented a training programme to raise awareness around unconscious bias, starting with our leadership group.
Cultural Awareness Training - We’ve been investing in our focus in the Māori cultural space. All of our Partners have now completed cultural awareness training; while all of our new graduates now begin their KPMG career with a marae-based induction programme. From our most senior leadership to our youngest recruits - what better way to celebrate our shared purpose?
Awards - We’ve also been lucky enough to win an ATEED Young at Heart Award for our Maori and Pacifica Diversity Recruitment Strategy as well as receiving a White Camelia Award which recognises the progress we have made with Pay equity reviews and also recognise our Family@KPMG policy and our Flex@KPMG policy which encourages flexible working wherever possible.
